light issue??? idk help

So i've put a pause on my first map and am working on a second, and i've gotten two levels one beneath the other mapped. Theres a sun present and the first rooms lighting is fine though i don't have a roof on yet lol i was just testing. SO i go downstairs and its really bright and foggy. I wanna upload a video for you but i don't exactly know how im good with programs like radian NOT computers them selves lol HELP .. and if someone tells me how to upload a video on here i will.

if you have an youtube account then upload itt o youtube.

then post the link in the forum or in the chat. and it should show up as a video.

EDIT: do you have any lights on the upper floor? because if you set it to 2 for intensity it can make your room look very bright.

if i may, i would suggest making the map a bit less open. otherwise it would be too easy lol

your light grid is too big, make it smaller so that its covering the map perfectly.
or make two light grids and put them side by side but not over eachother.

THanks and as for dark cloak, ive only maped out the levels not the individual rooms.. :p  this is like a 3% complete map lol. i was just checking the scale of things before moving on when i noticed the light issue. IM NOT MAKING a big box room map ... PROMISE lol   WHEN i post the work in progress for this map you can make all the helpful suggestions u'd like.
