alright so i come here ready to download some mods for zombies you guys have anti-cheat scripts personally i just like to download zombie maps to screw around on but with these anti-cheat scripts i am unable to do that you should honestly allow us to cheat i mean there isn't exactly a leaderboard for custom maps(as far as i know) and i am on a very low end computer where i barely get 20 FPS and we are allowed to cheat with the original zombie maps so i ask why do you wish to hinder my and others ability to have a little fun with all weapons and unlimited ammo and also i am sorry if i am posting this in the wrong section i was too lazy to look            brainfood1 brainfood1 brainfood1 brainfood1 brainfood1 brainfood1 brainfood1 brainfood1

wrong section.

we put anti-cheat because cheating is stupid and nobody here likes cheaters.

how would you like it if you put hard work into a map for a very long time, and someone just uses godmode and give all to eliminate any challenge that the map maker intended, and noclips all around your map in one second blowing off all the work it took the person to make all that? after noclipping around a map and seeing it in one second will just ruin your desire to keep playing the map anyway.  it's really a kick in the face to us.

the whole map is thrown in the trash that way. the map maker might as well have never made the map and you might as well have kept playing stock maps.

I think all other map creators can relate to this as well: Cheats should only be used for testing purposes! And YOU are not testing anything (just incase you came with some bs excuse that you are). You're playing the finished, intended product.

i knew i was in the wrong section but i understand where you are coming from but i personally can mess with a good custom map for at least 1 1/2 month before i get slightly bored with it but honestly most people get the PC version to mess around with the cheats on custom maps that's what i do at least then there are people who get this version of WaW to play the custom maps legit. I get the xbox versions of games to play legit ( offline/online campaign/zombies/multiplayer ) on pc i play legit online only i wont cheat if i am playing the custom map online with a couple of buddies cause that will just be stupid the point of co-op zombies is to survive together and the way they released the stock maps are the "intended products" too and they allow you to cheat and let me re-iterate the fact there is no leaderboard so why would you care if people are cheating im sure a majority of people don't even cheat due to the fact a lot of people barely know how to use the console and either way the work that is done gets appreciated and played

the fact there is no leaderboard so why would you care if people are cheating

we don't need a piece of shit, glitchy, and inaccurate leaderboard to prove it. it's all about your word, and pics. "pics or stfu".

edit: we're also not treyarch, so just because you can cheat on stock maps doesn't mean we should allow it. we don't get paid for making these maps, it's all out of the love for modding and the game. if we did get paid for making a few maps, then nobody would care if they were cheating on their map.

i don't go aroundsaying my zombie round best cause i don't care about it i play the game to have fun and the fact there is anti- cheat means my ability to have fun is hindered and if you love making these maps then why don't you let people have fun and "fall in love" with the map in there own way. I ussually go trolling when i don't like something but right now I am trying to make a valid point and what does getting paid for making a mod have to do with this there are a lot of Custom maps that don't care if you cheat they just make the map for as you say "for the love of modding the game"

because if we're not getting paid, then why would we spent months and months preparing a map when once it's released it will just get raped with cheats? it is pointless, and it ruins the gameplay and flow of the map. all the hard work getting the map to be challenging and unique is now thrown away. you, afaik, are not a mapper so you really would not understand this.
those maps that don't have cheat protection, i can guarentee you that either the map maker didn't know how and/or have time to implement cheat protection, or the map is old enough that cheat protection script wasn't discovered yet.
either way, those mappers wouldn't want you cheating on their map.

P.S if you usually go trolling when you don't like something, go ahead and try it out here on ZM, see where you end up :)

Or just plain lazy :)

I don't put cheat protection on my maps:
1. Cause I'm too lazy to
2. Like Earth said, I wouldn't want you cheating on my maps.

My two upcoming maps will have anti-cheat in it because of this topic you have posted fight1
