I've been looking forward to Blands 2 for a while now as well.  However, the friends I played Blands 1 with aren't picking the game up yet so I'll hold off until it goes a little cheaper and they decide to pick it up ;)

Yea I was thinking the same thing.  I'm not sure if I'm going to get it right away or not.  Unless there is more feedback in this thread justifying a full price purchase.

Professional game reviews ftw?

Gamespot and IGN generally do good video reviews, i don't trust written ones from them as you don't get to see any real in game footage to make your own decisions on it and they could easily be paid off to provide good reviews.

I won't be playing the game until tonight :)

hmm, how's the ingame performance? I mean, how many FPS you guys get/stutter problems, mostly one of the reasons i'm holding out on this game, maybe i'll torrent it to see first, dunno.

apparently a lot of people on the Steam forums are complaining of low (sub-50) fps on Kepler (670/680) cards, stutter and jerky frame time issues on Fermi cards (mostly affecting the GTX 560 Ti), and instability leading to frequent CTD's/extremely low fps on SLI systems (which if true automatically translates i'd have Allah's personal blessing upon my very soul if it even started on my PC).

I decided to pick it up and I'm installing it now.  If anyone is up for some co-op let me know.

Steam, so full price.  I didn't care about waiting for a price drop.

I was the same way for a long time, but they are actually pretty good.  I've never had any bad problems with them.

I'll take your word i assumed a platform would just cause issues. Plus I hear they have alot of original stuff and sales. Any suggestions that i should get on payday. I love rpg and shooters.

Their best sales are around the holidays although they do have constant sales going on.  Not sure what to suggest, depends on what you have.  If you have anything particular you are looking at just post it up and I'll give some feedback.

thanks again, the only one that comes to mind is crysis 2(not sure how to spell, and never played the first). I have read ign's reviews but they are often more nice than they should be. I was thinking about making a thread in the gamers corner for "personal" reviews. Have people post w.e game their interested in, and have someone else respond Must have/ Must not. Sorry for keeping you for no benefit to yourself. Go shoot some creatures in blands 2 for me, i'll let you go now. Bye and thanks.

Np, game is installing anyways.  I never did buy Crysis 2 so I can't help you with that.  I don't remember being overly happy with the original game.

Check this thread out, there's a bunch of reviews and it's where I post most of my game reviews.

So far so good.  I can't say that I'm totally wowed by the game, but it's fun.  The combat is pretty high paced once it starts so that is good.  Visually for me it reminds me a lot of Rage, but a tad more cartoon and not as much gore.  I've played a little co-op but mostly single player just to get used to everything.  Right now the combat seems fairly balanced but does seem easy at times.  I know it scales in co-op so I'll probably be getting into that more tomorrow.   I'm playing the Siren.  I just like a mix of power and guns.  For me it adds some more strategy and variety to my fighting so it's not so repetitive.  You only have one ability, but it can aid and support the entire team in many ways.

So far the game has run very smooth.  I don't think I've experienced any lag or technical problems.  The only thing would be Steam which was acting up a bit today, but other then that no issues.

I'll post some more feedback as I get into it deeper.

Okay so this is my first break from the game... already logged around 20 hours co-op into the game.

I've played 4 players and 2 players. Although lately the other two people have been getting involved with school and stuff, so it is left to me and one of my good friends. The campaign is a lot longer than I expected, it is 20-30 hours, maybe even too long if that was possible. The story has some... interesting turns and hilarious cut-scenes, quests, and stuff. But, man this game is a lot harder than the original Borderlands.

We had to fight a boss *Bunk3r with like 1,000,000 hp and we only did half damage to it because it was two levels higher than us. The boss fight actually took us approximately 35 minutes, my mate actually timed it XD

Most enemies can down you fast, and bosses/badasses/super badasses/Ultimates enemies can either three shot you with an SMG or one shot you with a sniper or rockets. Oh man super badasses make me cry so much. I couldn't imagine a super badass Constructor... oh God. I really can expect to be flimsy because I'm a medic siren whose got around half health and shields as my commando buddy.

Anyway... I really think this game is awesome with co-op and average in solo. We kinda gave up on the main story for the moment because the enemies are 4-5 levels above us, but I think it is going to end soon because of the whole *Waking the Warrior* thing. I'll probably finish the campaign soon though. Borderlands 2 is an amazing game.

So when you fall to the ground,
And finally get back to reality,
When no one's around,
How does it feel to be the enemy now?
